Your Data Never Leaves Your Browser

Activity Calendar is built with privacy-first principles. Everything happens locally on your device.

Data Storage & Processing

Activity Calendar operates entirely within your web browser using client-side technology:

  • All date parsing and calendar generation happens in your browser using JavaScript
  • Data is stored only in your browser's localStorage (local cache/memory)
  • The app does not upload calendar dates or imported file contents to an application server
  • Stored data remains in this browser until you clear it or the browser removes site data

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and its amendments (CPRA):

Your California Privacy Rights:

  • Right to Know: You can request details about personal information we collect, use, or disclose
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of the sale of personal information (not applicable to us)

Important Note for California Residents: Activity Calendar processes calendar inputs in your browser. The app does not collect, sell, or share the work, demand, PTO, or holiday dates you enter.

Application Data: The app does not request an account and does not send your calendar inputs or imported file contents to an application database.

Business or Commercial Purpose: The app does not sell or use your calendar inputs for advertising or profiling.

Hosting: The hosting provider may process routine request information such as IP address, browser details, and timestamps under its own policies. That infrastructure data does not include the calendar values held in your browser.

To Exercise Your Rights: Contact us at [email protected]. We will review requests under applicable law. Because calendar inputs remain in local browser storage, you can remove those inputs directly with the confirmed “Clear All” action or browser site-data controls.

What We Don't Collect

Activity Calendar does not use any tracking, analytics, or data collection services:

  • No application cookies; localStorage is used to retain calendar inputs and preferences
  • No tracking pixels or analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • No user accounts, registration, or personal information
  • No application database, user profile, or server-side storage of calendar inputs
  • No advertising network, behavioral profiling, or sale of calendar inputs

How Your Data is Protected

Local Storage Only: Your dates and calendar data are stored using your browser's localStorage API, which means they never leave your device.

Retention: Local calendar data remains until you clear it, browser settings remove it, or the browser/site storage is reset. The app does not claim a fixed automatic expiration period.

Data Validation: The application rejects malformed calendar dates and limits imported file processing, but browser storage should not be treated as a secure backup.

No Application Upload: Calendar parsing, spreadsheet parsing, display, and drag-and-drop changes run in your browser without uploading those values to an application server.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

  • Use the "Clear All" button to immediately delete all stored data
  • Clear your browser's localStorage to remove all Activity Calendar data
  • Use browser site-data controls if you also want to remove local application storage outside the app

Third-Party Services

Activity Calendar packages its runtime resources with the application:

  • Styles and icons: Tailwind-generated CSS and Tabler icons are served from the same site
  • File parsing: CSV and spreadsheet libraries run locally in your browser
  • Fonts: The interface uses fonts already available on your device

Opening an attributed external source link, such as a county-map source, takes you to that publisher’s site and privacy practices.

  • • Local browser storage and retention behavior
  • • Same-origin runtime assets and local file parsing
  • • Hosting-provider request data versus calendar input data

Any changes to this policy will be reflected on this page. Review the effective behavior described here when the application’s storage, hosting, or integrations change.
